What is Hillclimbing?
Hillclimb is a speed event, where one car and driver runs over a defined uphill winding course, from a standing start, against the clock. In competition, cars are classified into categories so as to have cars of like potential performance competing against each other. However, the real contest is the individual one where each driver tries on each run to improve their individual time i.e., the hill and the clock v's the car and the driver. Competitors claim Hillclimb to be the best fun you can have sitting down with a seat belt on!
Noosa Hill Climb - Winter Challenge is held on Gyndier Drive Tewantin and consists of a track with 14 corners winding through National Park.
The event draws competitiors from far and wide wide which guarantees to keep spectators entertained with the thrills and spills of close competition to be the fastest car to the top.
The Noosa Hill Climb is classed as one of the premier hill climb events in Australia. It has attracted such notables as Vern Schuppan, Kevin Bartlett, Dick & Steve Johnson and Glenn Seton just to name a few.
With such a broad range of makes and models competing such as the Skelta, XU1s, Minis, Fiats, GTs, Jags, Open Wheel Hill Climb Specials plus the Touring Car Masters cars. There is sure to be at least one car that will stir your passion.
So gather your friends and family and come and enjoy this great event.

There is limited parking at the Noosa Cooroy Road lower gate.


More than 150 entries have been received for the event, which will take part on Gyndier Driver in Tewantin.
The event has drawn competitors from far and wide, guaranteeing to keep spectators entertained with the thrills and spills of close competition.
A broad range of makes and models will be competing, such as the Skelta, XU1’s, Mini’s, Fiats, GT’s, Jaguars, Open Wheel Hill Climb Specials plus the Touring Car Masters cars.
In addition to the hill climb, on Friday, there will be Hastings Street Classic Cars Display and Parade courtesy of the Noosa Beach Classic Car Club, from 3.30pm.

Saturday and Sunday
Racing starts from 8.30am each day
Spectator fees
Adult Day Pass: $15
Adult Weekend Pass: $25
Children (Under 14): Free (accompanied by an adult)
Tickets available at the entrance gates (Cash or EFTPOS)
Parking
There is limited parking at the Noosa Cooroy Road lower gate.
Spectators - will be catered for with grandstand seating and a shuttle bus to transport them up the track to allow them to more easily access all vantage points.
Feel free to wander around the Pits to talk with drivers, get some autographs and get up close to the cars.
This race weekend of the 9/10th July 2018 is not to be missed with a line up of well known drivers, including a number of Muscle Cars in action.

As the event is held within a National Park - NO DOGS are allowed and SMOKING is prohibited.
